Sam

I share Sam. He is a very sensitive horse that can get down on himself, he is very very capable and just needs encouragement and support to excel.

Phoenix	Phoenix knows she is better than every other life form on the planet, you are lucky just to be looking at her photo. She doesn't bite or scratch but that doesn't matter as one of her disdainful looks could kill. She will sit on your knee, but only when she wants to and when she does want to it is unthinkable that you won't accept.
Mimi	Mimi and Phoenix are sisters. Mimi got her name as she doesn't miaow, the only noise she makes is 'Mee'. She is more gentle and kind than Phoenix and will seek you out for affection by asking nicely.

Nelson and Frederik

Nelson is a stone fancy mouse, named after Nelson Mandela and Frederik is a cream fancy mouse, named after Frederik Willem de Klerk. Both Nelson Mandela and F.W. de Klerk were presidents of South Africa (Frederik the last state president, and Nelson the first democratically elected president) and engineered the end of apartheid, South Africa's racial segregation policy, for which they received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993. The mice are lovely boys, very friendly and easy going, in fact, they tempt us into wanting to breed mice as well! I'm not sure that they live up to their names though!

Ichabod	Ichabod and his sister, Spider, were more than likely hunting ferrets in their previous life. It has been suggested that they are part polecat due to their black colouring, apparently part polecat ferrets make the best hunters. They very much have a working ferret mentality and not a pet ferret one. They were found by binmen dumped in a rubbish bag in the bin and handed into rescue where I went on to rehome them. Ichabod is very sedate and happy watching the world go by, he is not a ferret that likes a cuddle but he does like a scritch.
Mercutio	Mercutio is always up for anything. He is playful and energetic and sleeps rarely, he's worried he will miss something if he sleeps! He is a happy and kind ferret that will always try to engaged you in a rough and tumble. He is a very muscular boy.
Poppet	Poppet is a bouncy and precious girl, she is an explorer and will be off into the unknown at the first chance she's got. She loves people and wants to make friends with everyone. She is Thyme's sister.
Sid	Named after Sid the Sloth from Ice Age. Is not the sharpest tool in the shed, but is probably the kindest and most fun loving.
Spider	Spider is a very small ferret that is the epitome of 'spiteful jill'! She will bite you and mean it if you let her, so you have to be on the ball at all times. She is very difficult to introduce to new ferrets too, but we love her anyway!
Thyme	Is a very chunky ferret, especially for a girl. She enjoys her food but not enough to ignore people, who she adores. She is more cuddley than her sister, Poppet, and she likes to curl up and laze around in warm, cosy places. She is still just as bouncy and playful as all the others, but she enjoys a cuddle more.
